Employment law/lawyers

Looking for NZ law firms that specialize in employment relations law?

Finding a lawyer is hard enough, but finding the right one who specializes in employment law can make the prospect simply daunting. Even if you go to the phone book and simply check out the section for ’employment lawyers’, you have to figure out some way to ensure that you get the right one for your situation. We’d like to make this process easier for folks, so we’ve compiled this list of lawyers who practice employment law.

Keep in mind, as with all professional services, that you should verify that the firm you want to go with is taking new clients, has a lawyer that you feel comfortable working with, and is confident that they can help you with your situation. Nothing’s worse than getting all your appointments with insurance, work, any sort of professional representatives, and the lawyer set up and then finding out the person you hired to represent you simply doesn’t think they can do anything. It’s a bummer, and it wastes the time and money of every person that was involved in those meetings.

However, you should know this – this list is one that we compiled ourselves. Each firm or lawyer on this list is here because we or someone we know worked with them, and would recommend them to anyone we know. We feel that one of the true measures of a good person to work with, be it in law, house cleaning, or any other service, is whether people are willing to recommend their work to others. After all, if you trust someone, would you not trust them to give an accurate report of how someone works?

Now, please be aware that this list is always growing and changing, so check back often. If you need someone in a specific city, you can always filter the results by location. Again, you should verify that the firm is still in that location and that they still have someone who is specializing in employment law. Simply as a matter of ensuring that you don’t waste time. If you do come across a firm that doesn’t have someone who works in employment law, please feel free to drop us a line and let us know so that we can update the list.

We offer a national registry, but there are areas that we may not have much info on – simply because it is difficult to to compile information on more rural areas. Because of this, we are also interested in hearing reports and reviews of lawyers and firms that you, the client, would recommend to others. Just email us with as much of their information as you have – name, firm, location, phone number, website, and so on – and we’ll do the rest.

Our hope is that this listing helps people navigate difficult situations with a little more peace of mind.
